What is a good second income?
PLEASE READ THIS:
I am in my mid 20′s recently moved to the USA to be with my wife.
After exhausting my life savings waiting for a work permit, I got a job as a waiter and work plenty of shifts. Dont make a whole lot in tips, so my income sucks. Being poor sucks. I need to replenish my savings asap.
What can I do to bring in a second income? What can I do to bring me some easy steady money besides waiting tables?

Without knowing your skill set or your educational background it is very difficult to know what to tell you to do for a job. Despite the less than positive employment situation right now, there are still millions of jobs in this country. What do you like to do? What are you good at?
