Blood On Tampon String After 10 Minutes?

Sorry for the grossness, but I NEEED help.

Okay so I finally got it in the first time yesterday. And it kinda hurt but I took the applicator out and it was all good. I could kinda feel it when I made certain movements but it wasn’t bad so I left it. And I guess that means it wasn’t in far enough?? I seriously tried going as far as i could, my hand was already touching. Okay anyways a little bit after, the string was kinda bloody and a litttttllee but came out but I just assumed it was from the string and it just touched around my body, I didn’t think it was coming out. Like an hour later, at the pool I had blood going down my legs so I went to the bathroom. It was coming out of the string and idk if it was coming around the tampon or not. Did it leak because it wasn’t in far enough? SO CONFUSED. I took it out, I felt alot of pressure but the tampon was all used up. And I tried getting another in but I guess I didn’t fully release the tampon because when I pulled the applicater out the tampon was still there. I pushed it as far as I could, and it hurt??

So yeah, why did the blood come out in the first place? PLEASE HELP!!! It started leaking slowly after like 15 min?

Please And Thankya!! [:

Some Tampon Questions!?

Hey I’m 18 and I just started using tampons. They’ve been uncomfortable for the past few days. Like, I could kind of feel it up inside me. So today I put the applicator in farther to see if that would help. I felt the usual resistance as the tampon was being released from the applicator, then suddenly the resistance gave way like it had broken through a barrier. It didn’t hurt or anything. I can’t feel it at all now, and this is the first time that’s happened. That’s nice, but there’s a lot less string outside my body than there was before…I have about an inch and a half outside my body now. Anyway, my question is this: are you suppose to be able to tell when it’s in far enough by the way it feels? Like, is it normal to feel resistance that suddely gives way while inserting it? Does this feeling mean I put it in too far? I’m just concerned about the string getting lost.
Thanks to everyone who answers!

problems inserting tampons?

I am 14 and i am using Tampax Slender tampons. I understand how to insert them and all and i am doing it correctly and putting it in far enough… its just when i put it in and stand up it feels fine but when i sit down i can feel it and it begins to feel uncomfortable. It doesnt hurt, it just feels a little uncomfortable and i can feel it there. I want to be able to use a tampon without any problems.. are you supposed to feel it at all? Because i do and i am sure i am putting it in far enough. I am squatting when i put it in and at a 45 degree angle it just feels uncomfortable. Also i am waiting until my fingers touch my body before i push in on the applicator. Thanks for your help.

Tampon problem….help?

I just put in a Playtex Gentle Glide Regular Absorbency Tampon, and the size/flow is fine. The problem is that I can feel it like crazy! I have put tampons in millions of times before and it’s always the same problem- i can feel it. This time, i even tried pushing it up farther with the applicator AND with my finger. my finger was in almost all the way and apparently its "still not in far enough". i don’t know what else to do. it is kind of stinging and i feel awkward and i feel like it is leaking and it has only been in for 20 minutes. I tried standing up this time also instead of sitting down. when i am putting it in it kind of looks a little titled, but i think that’s because i’m using my right hand and not both hands. What should i do?! I can’t stand this anymore!!! I need to learn how to use tampons correctly! I put it in until my fingers touched my body and pused it in. when i push it in it hurts. like from the second i start pushing it. maybe i’m not pusing the tube fast enough? help me please:( this is a huge problem.

first time tampon use…?

So i have tried like 8 times now and am really getting frustrated. I know you’re supposed to relax and i probably am not, but for some reason the thought of anything being in my body makes me want to puke. Whenever i do it, it goes in pretty smooth the first part of the applicator but i can never push the actual tampon in. [this is so awkward, but i really need to ask...] Is it possible that i am like aiming for the wrong spot or something? It really starts to hurt and then i get all tense and just have to stop. I feel like i have tried so many times that i will never get it right and just have to never have sex. laksdhfkansdfkansd! it is very frustrating. I’ve been to a gyno before so i doubt there’s anything wrong with me otherwise she would say, but do you guys have any advice?

Can you push a tampon in too far?

I have had my period for a while and have been using tampons from the start. When I put the applicator in, I go until my fingers are touching my body, ya know like the directions say. Then when I push the tampon out, I push about halfway down, and it feels like it can’t go in anymore and if I push more, it hurts a bit. So I usually just continue pushing the tampon out, but at the same time taking the applicator out, so I don’t push the tampon in further.

I don’t know if that was confusing, but I just wanna know if it’s bad if I continue to push, even though it feels kinda wierd and it feels like I’m not going anywhere. What am I hitting? I just don’t know if it’s a bad thing if I kept pushing.
Do you get that?
Haha thanks.
And please only answer if you are a girl who has had experience with tampons before.

Please help with tampons!!?

Okay so every time I insert a tampon, I can feel the very end of it, not the string, but the end of it. My mom says even though i’m putting it in, It’s not at the right angle. It feels like when i’m sitting down the end is poking the inside of the wall and it’s soooooo uncomfortable it’s really hard to sleep. I’ve been using plastic applicators, the slim kind, and when I go to put it in I hold the grip part with my thumb and middle finger and push until my fingers are outside my body, and since it’s not been feeling right, i’ve been putting my fingers inside just a little bit and then using my fore finger to push it in. Is there anything I can do? Please help, even my mom has tried inserting it. The first time I couldn’t feel anything, but now every time I put it in I can. Please, any advice is welcome, this is really tearing me apart and i’ve had so many melt downs and sobbings over this, and kind comments only please.

Tampons weird me out… help please!?

I’m scared of tampons, but I am able to use them…..
I really WANT to like tampons, cause of my heavy flow.
But here’s the scoop. The tampon going in is painless, like it slides right in, that’s not the problem.
The thing is everytime I insert a tampon, it’s NEVER high enough no matter what I do, so it killlls when it’s inside me when I walk or sit down! Like actually, wtf, I’ve used them 6 times and everytime I can feel them inside.

So the last 2 periods I chickend out to use them cause I was scared I wouldn’t put them in high enough and they would hurt and be uncomfy.

So, how can I reassure myself that I will be able to get it in right next time? And also, how can I be able to know I will actually get it in high enough, I insert with one leg on the toilet seat until my fingers are touching my body, so what’s the problem?

Has anybody else ever felt this way, I feel like I’m the only person who can use tampons but am scared of them but want to use them still. :(

*i’ve used tampax compak and playtex gentle glide in light and regular abosrbencies, so that’s not the problem.
would playtex sport be better? I only want to use applicators and im not interested in diva cup*
