Postmenopausal women – best weight loss product?

I am postmenopausal now and no matter what I do I can not lose weight. Is there a diet product or diet that seems to work better than others for those in our group. I’ve really cut down on eating and walk vigorously most days but nothing. Diets that work on younger women probably won’t work for me as they have a different metabolism/hormonal balance. Any suggestions.

What would be a good product of weight loss for someone like me?

I know most of you will think its dumb, but I weigh 130 lbs and am looking to lose 10-20 lbs. The reason being, I was medicated a lot as a young child and all that crap has now slowed my metabolism way down, and I have a lot of excess weight I do not need. Does anyone know something I can buy that will work efficiently to lose the weight I need?

Natural Supplements in aide to weight loss?

I am wondering what are some NATURAL supplements to help in aide of weight loss. I am currently taking green tea extract, a multivitamin, a B vitamin complex, fish oil, L Glutamine, and L Carnatine… Are there any other out there that help with metabolism or weight loss?

Does pilates create a muscular body or a slimmer body?

I’ve just started doing accelerated Winsor Pilates to help tone my body and I’ve also been jogging for 30 minutes a day for the past two weeks. The part of my body that I’m trying to tone down the most is my butt. It’s really really big, and I was just wondering if pilates would make it smaller or more muscular. Quite frankly I would like to have a more muscualar body and so far I’ve progressed well in my arms, abs, back and calves. I’m having trouble with my thighs and my butt though. I want to make my butt a NORMAL size and make my thighs tight, small, and muscular. I KNOW I’m going to continue to run for the rest of my life because I love it. What I’m trying to ask is, how will pilates change my body? I know it might depend on what kind of a metabolism you have or something, but overall, how would it affect my body?

Women 35 and over, any weight loss tips???

I am so depressed with my weight. I had a baby last year and I am just struggling with the weight.
I have tried half of the weight loss products at Walmart nothing seems to help, I have actually gained more.
I know I’m at the age where your metabolism slows. I don’t eat junk food. I exercise at least 4 days a week.
Any tips would be appreciated.

What weight loss supplements would you suggest?

I’ve decided to lose about 50 lbs by the time the summer is over and so far I’m making great progress. I started my diet a little over a month ago and have already lost 14 lbs. I joined the gym. I go at least 4 times a week. Usually every day though unless another plan interrupts my schedule. I am watching what I eat. I have cut my calories significantly and even started keeping a food diary, in which i also keep track of my exercise. I bought a pedometer and count me steps, basically I’ve improved my way tremendously since the year started. My question now is in regards to those infamous "weight loss pills". I would like to add something to increase my energy, boost my metabolism, and just speed up the process. I am kind of in a hurry because I am planning a vacation and would like to possibly complete this before my initial plan. But how can you trust anything out there, really? Has anyone taken anything that they were satisfied with? Or does anybody have any tips in general?
I tried the Slimquick, I even tried TrimSpa, but stopped taking them soon after. Trimspa still sits in my closet i took like 4 of them. Slimquick i used a whole bottle of, bought another one, went through half and then stopped because i wasn’t sure if they would interact with medications that i started taking at the time. I can say i was pretty satisfied with the results slimquick gave me. Still I would like to see what other options I have. The cost is also a concern, simply because I’m not rich and can’t afford to spend 0/month on weight loss pills. A friend of mine [body builder] swears by Hydroxycut. But not many other people I talked to recommended it, so any suggestions?

Questions about supplements and weight loss?

I do not want to take any diet pills I did before and it is too expensive and does not take off that much weight. My questions are what supplements can I take that help you drop weight naturally. I take green tea extract which increases metabolism. I also take Flax Seed oil which also helps with weight loss. Does anyone recommend anything else natural that promotes weight loss. My second question is how can I take Flax seeds instead of the oil? Any suggestions? I do not want to just eat them plain.

Protein Powder Question?

So, my boyfriend and I are thinking of replacing our lunches with protein shakes. I want something that won’t make me gain weight, but , will it make him lose weight too? We both work out and want to build more muscle and just be healthy. I want to build up my metabolism and get slimmer, he doesn’t need to do that. I know whey protein is much better for your body, i just need to know what we should be using.

I thought of this stuff for us. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/eas/myoplexnew.html

Any suggestions if this is a good product to use? or suggestions on what we should do? Thanks!

how does fast weight loss ruin your metabolism?

want to lose a lot of weight quickly but someone said that will ruin my metabolism so when I began to eat again I’ll gain loads of weight.
What if I begin to eat little by little rather than 3 normal meals a day I’ll have 3 half a normal meal a day. Will that help my metabolism get back on track or is it ruined forever.

Nutritional supplements that assist with weight loss?

I am 5′2" and currently 172 pounds with a decently muscular build (under all the excess weight, that is…). My goal weight to get within the normal BMI range where I would be healthy is 136 pounds. I am not looking for any "quick fixes," so please don’t bother recommending the pink patch, things like that. I have a diet and exercise plan worked out. What I am looking for is any suggestions – backed by research and/or experience – for vitamin or nutritional supplements that might assist me in the endeavor.

I know I’m going to have to work at it, and I’ve heard of supplements that will increase your metabolism and things like that as long as you’re already changing your diet and exercise behaviors. Do any of these work? Are there any safe and all-natural appetite suppressants that could help with my cravings (I have a terrible sweet tooth)? I’m willing to try anything as long as it’s safe and not putting my body in danger. Thanks!
