I think my chinchilla may be sick.?

I think my chinchilla may be sick. I haven’t changed his food. He is very active. He is still very sociable. His hair is all matted up. He is loosing patches of fur on is legs and chest. There is some weight loss, but not much. There are big scabs of dry skin on the bottoms of his feet. I need some help!!!!!

How should I condition my body? What types of exercise would be helpful?

24 year old, inexperienced guy here again!

I’m 6′3, fairly slim upper body, not defined in any way, but getting just a little bit of a beer gut (I need to get rid of that!). My lower body is a bit thicker and more muscular than my upper body.

So, what sort of exercising should I be doing to get my body into dancing shape? I was told to avoid heavy weights at the gym as they bulk you up and you never see really bulky dancers. I was told to avoid running as it’s strenuous in the legs.

I really need to get my stomach a little flatter as well as build strength and flexibility. I wouldn’t mind adding a little bit of size, but not too much. I think my legs could be a little smaller too.

Should I do yoga? Weights? Pilates? What type of cardio?

e-cigarettes and weight loss?

My brother is a heavy smoker. He tried to quit once before using the patch, but he had some side effects from it, and eventually went back to smoking.

He and his wife had a baby, and he decided it was time to quit, and he bought the e-cigarette. he started at a higher dose of nicotine, and he’s weaned himself down to a lower dose… soon he wants to wean himself down to a zero-nicotine e-cigarette, (they say to stay with it for a while to not gain weight, because many people who quit smoking need something to do with their hands, and turn to eating.)

he’s done pretty good with it thus far and it got me to thinking…

I have problems with my weight right now after an accident. I had to have surgery on both of my legs and ended up gaining weight from bed rest. I seem to fall into the habit of eating now when I’m bored, in pain, watching tv or have nothing better to do.

I don’t smoke… but there is a green tea with vitamin nicotine free e-cig filter… could puffing on one of those when I get bored, help curb my boredom eating? Or are E-cigs not good for that?

trouble with tampons?

i’m 18 years old and a virgin. i’ve been trying to use tampons since i was 12 and i could never use them, i couldn’t even insert the applicator in all the way without crying. i’ll lay down and relax and just clear my head and i remember once i tried to use them, and my legs started shaking uncontrollably, it seems like my body is just rejecting it. my mom doesn’t use tampons either and she says that some women just can’t use them, and it’s perfectly okay. i don’t understand how we all have the same part, yet we can’t all use tampons? her story just doesn’t add up to me. this is my last period i’ll have before going to florida for spring break, and there’s a chance ill have my period on vacation. i want to be able to go swimming and just enjoy myself. my mom told me to stop trying before i damage something, what could be wrong with me?

is cycling good for the whole body or just legs?

cycling is considered an aerobic sport, however the legs are used much more than than the upper body. will i start seeing my lower body slim down while my upper body stays the same?

I need serious medical advice on a problem with psoriasis?

I am 25 years old and have been breaking out with rashes for over a year now. Last year, I suddenly started breaking out in rashes under my armpits, between my legs, and where my arms fold (other side of elbow). I have been tested for diabetes, AIDS, cancer, lyme disease….. (about forty blood tests in all….I have good insurance) Well, they finally did a biopsy on my skin—when a rash popped up—and said I have psoriasis, but not the plaque kind. My dermatologist is clueless to this biopsy and says my rashes are not associated with psoriasis. He actually says some people go through weird stages for sometimes a few years where this happens—me breaking out with rashes because of sweat. Anyway, it’s tough when I’ve been healty my whole life yet can now barely be outside for five minutes without having a rash appear. Please, anyone help me. Have you ever heard of this before?

I was wondering if you get a slim body from ballet, you stay the same, or you get big muscles – like legs, or thigh muscles.
