I am a 21 year old female and I have a job, but I really want to be bringing more money in. I am willing to put time and effort into a home business, but can’t seem to find something feasible for me to do! Could someone give me some suggestions?
my income was less than 00? The total income from this job is so low that it seems I could not include it. I have since quit this job, but all this extra income did was put me into a higher tax bracket (along with my primary job) and my refund is lower if I include it.

I am in my mid 20’s recently moved to the USA to be with my wife.
After exhausting my life savings waiting for a work permit, I got a job as a waiter and work plenty of shifts. Dont make a whole lot in tips, so my income sucks. Being poor sucks. I need to replenish my savings asap.
What can I do to bring in a second income? What can I do to bring me some easy steady money besides waiting tables?
I just got a job as a host at a restaurant (I wanted to be a waiter but since i don’t have any waiting experience, they said they’d start me out as a host). It’s good b/c I can work nights and weekends, so it works with my school schedule, but the problem is they give me MINIMUM WAGE and who knows when they’ll move me up to waitress? IT could be months! But I am going to start school in a month, so I will be going about 2 or 3 days a week. ARe there any other 2nd jobs i could do? ? A kind of job where I could have a flexible schedule (My host schedule changes every week as it is)…I could be available for a 2nd job about 2 full days a week and then a couple half days…HELP! I am not making enough money!!! I keep having to borrow money from my parents and I owe them so much $ already…Once I work my way up to waitress with tips and so forth, I will be able to support myself, but before they promote me, I NEED to have some extra money…
SOme ideas I thought of : Like working on the school newspaper or something? I don’t know..do they offer any opportunities to students at school? Teacher’s assistant..?
Wow Raya, thanks for the advice..those are great ideas..i Will def. check those out! Thx.

with a remedy for their materialistic ways and pressuring their husbands to have the family live beyond their means?
Recently, I had lunch with a girlfriend of mine who was complaining she needs to keep her job instead of being a SAHM. But she is the same person who pushed and pushed her husband so they could buy a custom built house north or 0k. Does she (and most women) confuse their "need" to work with subsidizing her excessive lifestyle?
In other words, isn’t it an insult to compare her need to work, with that of a lower income family who needs a 2nd income to get by and put food on the table with her "need" to live high on the hog?
Rio – the 0k part, you may be right, but the general premise is solid. We women do seem to like to push the envelope (or exceed it) of our financial resources for material gain.
Rio – Surely you aren’t implying men are anywhere as materialistic as a whole as we are!?
I have seen alot of scams out there and have tried a couple. I have done some of the surveys but have found it is not worth the effort. Im looking more for a data entry type job one that is not a scam thanx for the help
