I just use an air mattress for a bed (being a college student means you’ve got a tight budget, as I’m sure any college student knows), and the other day it got a half-inch rip right on the top, right at the seam. I bought a mattress patching kit and applied a small square patch (roughly 1" by 1") on it. Yes, I did deflate the mattress first. However, this morning I woke up and it felt like I was laying in a hammock. I checked again – sure enough, my half-inch rip continued to tear along the seam on the top of the mattress.I applied three more patches (for good measure) using a lot more of the glue supplied (fairly strong stuff) AND a layer of duct tape on top, just for good measure. I even applied some heavy weight on top of it before I left for school today, just to make sure it’s clamped down while it dries. However, I’m skeptical about this – I fear it’ll rip even further. If that happens, what’s the best way I can patch it up? These patches apparently aren’t doing their job, so what else can I do?
The top of the mattress, where the hole is, is kinda… "lumpy" for lack of a better term. Therefore, it’s kinda hard for duct tape to stick on it and stay stuck once inflated.

Alrighty guys. So at Christmastime i bought the Clinique 3 Step in Type 2 (Dry Combination), but all the way up until now, it was doing its job as a good cleanser but the main reason I bought it was for it to clear up my acne. I’ve heard such raves about it and I was soo disappointed when it didn’t work for me. I’m 13 and my acne is Moderate. Most are on forehead and once my skin even starts getting better I break out once again.

So a few weeks ago, my friend had the 3-Step in Combination Oily, and she says it worked GREAT for her (cleared almost everything up), and i know that different regimens work for different people, but that got me thinking, I might have gotten the wrong skin type. I mean I’ve begun to realize my t-zone feels a little oily, and also, you’re skin pretty much needs to be oily to have acne right?

So my question is should I get the Type 3? Or should I get some other skincare routine? (I was also thinking of proactive). Also I have already tried Acne Free and its horrible for me.

Starting off, I don’t want to hear the usual blah…"oh well how about just working out and less junk food." I want a real answer.

I’m just wondering what the best dietary product GNC has. I had a motorcycle accident last year which has prohibited me from doing the workouts I usually did. (clavicle injury was the killer) I’m looking to lose 10-15 lbs. I’m also looking to regain the muscle I used to have. Since the accident I’ve lost most of my muscle tone. I’ve done the VPX meltdown but I’m not quite satisfied. I’m looking for something with a good caffeine balance as well. With the type of job I have, I don’t have much time to work out anyways. (12-18 hour days)

Do you think that it is fair that a man who has five children should live off of welfare becase he can’t fincialy support them him selves on one income? This is becase his wife there mother has died, If she was still alive he would not need welfare, becase that he would have a second income.becase she would also have a job.

got married in april in India, left job in march 2009, came back to uk 3 weeks after marriage, i have got all required docs ready now, i,e 3 months banks statements, wage slips, letter from employer, have own accommodation, mortgaged, bank balance of 800/1000 after all bills paid p/m, i did not get p60 from previous employer as i left b4 april 2009 tax year, did get final payslip thru post. wanted to know aswell if i have second income from family business less than 16 hours, will letter from family member be ok also wanted to know if i have credit card payment which i am also making monthly affect application?

Hey everyone. I need some help. My husband was divorced 5 years ago. We were married this year in May. We are residents of California. Ever since shes tried raising his child support. Which is not fair. Shes a very mean and spiteful person. Which is another story in itself.

My husband is currently paying 500 ( on the books) for one child.

A friend just informed me that she may be trying to change it because of my income! ( I’m wasn’t working there for a bit, so she couldn’t) But now I am. I have 2 kids of my own. Can she raise the support now that he an I are married and there is a second income????

I’ve tried looking on the California government site with no luck. Can someone please provide a link if they know one???

It is a little sad though that if he starts making more she can take it…. Hes in the military and by this time next year will be making more. I don’t think its fair to take more than she needs while she sits at home and has never had a job in her 26 years *sigh*

So I responded to a job/internship offer to be a health consultant for weight loss and helping people get healthy. I went to this "interview" and it was about Herbalife products. The girl who was talking to me said this was all about helping people achieve their weight loss goals, which really appealed to me, and she only briefly talked about the products, as if it wasn’t of the greatest importance. Then I went home and researched Herbalife and found out about how it is a MLM system. The girl didn’t tell me anything about recruiting others (as I know that’s how MLM works). I emailed her and said politely that I didn’t want to be a part of this because MLM wasn’t for me. She called me back and explained that I wasn’t expected to really sell the products but just to help her clients with weight loss challenges and helping people get healthy.

So that’s where I’m stuck, is she saying this because she genuinely wants to help me help others or is it clever wordplay to get me into the Herbalife system? I mean I didn’t pay anything, she paid for the information packet, but I am listed now as a "distributor" and they want me to go to a training session on Saturday.

Any (positive) advice would be lovely.
