I usually eat out but I need to loose weight, I need an effective weight loss diet?

I am a student and I basically live on fast food … I desperately need to lose weight, lots of it. I try to count the calories but so far no success. Has anybody have a good diet to suggest? has any one tried Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers ? do they really work?

Fast weight loss? Boosting metabolism?

My friends and family say I’m thin, but I see diferently. I want to know some ways to loss weight quickly. I’ve been walking at least an hour a day because it burns 250 calories and boosts metabolism. I’ve also been drinking lots of water and trying to get three servings of dairy daily. Let’s say I’ve been eating 1,200 calories a day. I’m not exactly sure how much I’m eating, but let’s say it’s 1,200. From what I’ve told you how much weight do you think I’ll lose how fast? What are some other ways that help people lose weight and increase metabolism?

I put myself on a diet: are whole wheat products part of a weight loss diet?

Whole wheat is the more healthy food choice because of the xtra vitamins, fibers etc. But are they okay to eat when you actually want a lower kcal intake? White bread has less calories then whole wheat, so what to do?

fast weight loss, any tips?

I want to lose approx 15 lbs in 2 weeks.

First off, I realize this is not a "realistic" goal as it is recommended to lose 2-3 per week. I have researched enough to know it is not dangerous, just hard to do.

I am wondering if anyone has had any success doing this or any recommendations on what I could do to lose the weight!

I will not starve myself, I am not stupid. I am also not lazy therefore I want to incorporate both healthy eating and exercise into this weight loss. I realize some people lose the weight fast and then gain it all back, that is not what I am looking to do. I want to lose this weight fast to be a bridesmaid in my sister’s wedding, and I also want to keep it off following that. I am of average weight but have gained 20 lbs in 2 months due to my current antidepressant, and want to return to my normal weight. I am active and eat fairly healthy, although I do eat junk food at times like most people. I am willing to do a crash diet or cut my calories way down. Even try diet pills as long as they’re effective and not dangerous!

Thanks for any insight!

Which exercise is more effective for actual weight LOSS?

Which is more effective for actual weight loss….riding a stationary bike 4 miles, about 3x per week OR doing a 1-2 mile Walk Away The Pounds DVD, which incorporates knee lifts, kicks, and side-steps, and using light weight balls, about 4x a week? I am really serious about losing weight and just wanted to know which would burn more calories for long-term weight loss. Thanks!

Are peanut butter and coconut oil effective for weight loss?

I’ve read that peanut butter and coconut oil are effective for managing weight and for eating healthy. However, they do tend to have a lot of calories and fat. But are they effective? (I’m not dieting or anything, my mom just told me that they were good for that.)
