Fast weight loss for obese man?
I should have said fast weight loss for desperate obese man. i`m 5 ft 3 in and 198 lb and need to lose weight fast. I`m desperate cause I`m 25 and i`m alone, even my mom told me i`m fat and ugly. I tried to follow some diets, no remarkable results. I work a lot during the day, don`t have much time to work out, and I take snacks between meals. I just can`t help from snacks, what should I do? please help! really need it.

You have to cut calories. I’ve found that if I cut calories that I lose weight even if I don’t exercise. That is the only way to lose. You should cut back to 1500 calories a day. You will feel like you are starving but you aren’t. You have to quit snacking. At least start snacking on fruit. Once you lose weight you will be able to bump those calories up. If you exercise you can afford to eat a few more calories. Your mom sounds kind of harsh. You aren’t that heavy that you have no hope of meeting someone. You’ll find someone. Just keep looking.

I too am trying to loose weight and I have tried so many diets it makes my head spin. The one that finally worked for me was Weight Watchers. I have lost forty pounds so far and am still going. You do not have to go to meetings either to be a member there is an online membership now as well. Weight Watchers only works though if you have the motivation. Also negative comments do not help so I would tell your mom to leave you alone, thats what I did and let me tell you the minute I stayed away from her I felt better about myself and found the motivation.

gastric bypass surgery would be a FAST way to lose weight.
but if you want to do it healthy without surgery or drugs it’s a slow process but the end result is well worth the effort.
You need to make life changing decisions. You must eat healthy meals. You don’t say what your normal meals consist of, but stop eating greasy fast foods. Stop drinking sodas. Try to cut out snacks by drinking more water during the day to help you feel full. A lot of people snack because they "think" they are hungry when really they are dehydrated and need water. If you do snack, make it nutritious. Eat fresh fruits and veggies or pretzels and yogurts. Don’t go overboard. watch your serving sizes! That’s important because if you eat out most restaurants give you enough food for three meals. If you "don’t have time" to work out, start thinking where you can add physical activity to your day. Park far away from the door where you work and walk further to add extra steps. Skip the elevator, take the stairs. Do calisthenics at your desk. Little changes like these will go a long way in the end.
Believe me it’s not easy by any means. I struggle too. But anything worth having is worth fighting for. And you don’t necessarily have to give up everything you love to eat. Just eat the "fat" stuff in moderation. For example, at a b-day party have a smaller piece of cake instead of a heaping plate and skip the ice-cream. Or as soon as you get your plate in a restaurant ask for a to-go plate and immediately put half of your food in there; eat half and take the rest home.

Please remember that food is not the problem. You have to really analyze what is trigering you to eat – it seems that you are an emotional eater – "i’m alone" you may be alone, but you have to like yourself overweight or not. Do you think that by losing people will like you and you will not be alone?? Sorry, this is Answers not question. Okay you have to set small goals. 5 lbs, 10lbs and so on. Losing weight takes WORK you can’t complain and not do anything about it. Pack your lunch and your snacks. You can’t help snacking? well cut down if you eat 3 cookis eat 1.5 if you eat chocolate don’t eat the whole bar. BABY STEPS!!!!! DRINK lots of water preferably room temperature, fruits, vegetables, chicken fish, stay away from beef, it takes 3 days to digest it. WALK even if you start walking to the corner. Think positively, NO DIETING a change of lifestyle – it is a life commitment you cannot say i’m dieting because you will deviate from your goal the same day. If you eat something and then you feel guilty don’t say oh well the day is shot – get back on track and you will be fine. You have to commit to this or you will only end up gaining more weight.
I am 5’2" used to weight 220 and now 130. it took a year and a lot of hard work.

I know that loosing weight is hard to begin with because food can be very addicting. I used to be fat myself but I now weigh 110 pounds. It gets easier as time goes on. Here is what worked for me: I drank lots and lots of water so it will fill up my tummy so I did not crave food as much. When you are not working, try doing about 30 minuites of bike riding, or some other cardio exercise. And if you are watching TV, instead of sitting on the couch, try jogging in place. Hi. Ok Man, get ready for some real good advise here that will open your eyes for good !
Ok, first you have to realise that is bullshiit that thing people say about you dont need to lose weight because or for somebody. Thats Horseshiit. You do have to lose weight and be presentable if you want to find a beautiful girl or (if you are desperate) , to get laid. The thruth is that you wont atract no women if you look like "Free Willy". Now, you are not that fat as a whale based on your descriptions but you are getting there. So you better stop your winning and get this straight. If you dont stop swallowing things like a pig swallows his food, you are going to be lonely and you dont want that my friend. Do the following things and I guranteed you that you will be not skinny thin, but good looking, well toned in about 9 to 12 months, and you will have so many chicks hitting on you that you will realise, "Man I will never want to be fat ever again" !
First, setup your mind that you will suffer from some light stomach pains, desesperation, light headaches and some other minor effects as you start reducing your snacks and calories. Start off your day before going to work with a nice 8oz of non fat milk and a little piece of reduced fat cheese or a 1 boiled egg and eat it with one or two soda-crackers. Now go buy a bottle of Hydroxycut or Xenadryne or any good energy -diet suplement pills. After you eat these small ammount of breakfast and take the pills, wait about 20 to 30 minutes and head for the street for some fast walking. For the first week do some fast walking for about one hour in the morning and one hour on the afternoon or evening; after a week you will replace the fast walking with runing, you have to do this twice a day for this to work fast. Otherwise you will be doing this longer than you might want. You might lose upto 50 pounds in 6 months or less, buut if you want to tone and be in great shape , you should keep it up for 12 moths and you will be feeling so good by then that you will want to do it every day after that for the rest of your life.
Now try to eat something good with no fat for lunch and dinner. Try chicken breast, white tuna, salmon, different kinds of fish,kingcrab ,salads, vegetables like carrots, brocoli, corn, and onions are great companions for chicken and fish and it will help to stuff you up in the first weeks while you get used to reduce your ammount of food you consumed. Remember, dont put any kind of regular dressing on your salads, instead use vinegar with little salt or nonfat dressings. Count your calories daily intake and dont eat more or less than 1,200 min to 1,500 max calories on a day. As of for snacks, they are good because it keeps your metabolism running fast, so eat snacks, but dont eat the whole pack of snickers or twinkies. eats snacks like rice snacks, or a granola bar, or an apple or an orange or a half full hand of peanuts, or a nonfat yogurt, or a cracker, or even a fig newton cookie(but no more than 2 cookies) and keep drinking a lot of water and reduce the juices to maybe one glass a day of real natural juice.And no icecream no regular milk, no white breads only wheat bread but only one slice not 2 or 3. You can also eat stuff like special k cereal for beakfast or raising bran with non fat milk. Just dont fill the bowl like until you can even put the spoon in there. Eat but with moderation. Whenever you get hungry and desperate to get another snack between snacks, go get a 32oz glass of cold water and eat a 1 sodacracker, or suck on a lemon.
Now if you want to really get in great shape fast and do it with style, you will need to lift weights at least 4 times a week and also do the running but maybe for an hour daily 5 to 6 days a week. you will lose weight fast and at the same time you will turn a lot of that fat into muscle. Your momma wont even recognise you 6 months later. Not only for your new appearance but also for your new personality and strong confidence this will create on you. You will be amazed how much difference 50 to 60 pounds less will do in your life. Be aware that if you decide to lift weights and do running at the same time, you will have to adjust your eating patterns even more than if you just do running. In a matter of fact you will need to eat a lot more often if you are doing weights, so that your muscles dont suffer any loss on mass while you are waiting for your next meal. You might need to eat 6 to 8 times a day, but that doesnt mean eating fat and lots of calories. It means reducing the ammounts of food and spreading it during the day. Your calories could go higher to aprox 1500 to 2000 a day. You will loose a lot of fat and make bigger muscles if you eat lots of chicken breats, water tuna(not oil tuna), fish,and some red meat every now and then(no more than twice a week) with not much fat on it-a clean cut. Also you should get a high Whey Protein shake supplement with low calories. That will give you strenght to do all this with not much effort. You do this and you will see a huge difference in your life and in the life of others by the way they will see you and approach you. Is hard work but you area man and we were made for much more harder work than this, so you can do it. Dont use injections, anabolics, steroids, keep it natural. You dont want to look like a freak. You just want to look great and that chicks say you are hot. You wont regret it, trust me. You should also buy the Arnold Schwarzenegger Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding(around $25.00) and it tells you very specificly everything about bodybuilding, diets, exercises, everything youll need to be succesfull in your goals. Good luck to you and I hope you read all this because is taking me forever to type it since I can write it all at once because Im disable at the moment for an accident at work, wich I hope doesnt last for too much longer. I loved doing weights butg I cant right now, but you will love it too once you start measuring your arms and you start seeying progress and once you start seeing your body change from fat uggly man to a strong hard, mean , confident, sex machine, energetic, good looking man that everyone will be happy and proud to hang around with. Good luck my man and remember that it will get a little hard at the beggining but after 2 to 3 weeks after you start, you will look forward to working out every day. Just think about all the girls that will look and stare at you as you walk by them and that will want to be with you. And please remember to always wear a condom….or you will be a big fat man again in no time if you have to get married because you got someone pregnant. Ok now, Take care….

OK, so you`re a big fellow, that`s a reason to be so desperate? No way! Losing weight is not impossible, you need to start by cutting down from those snacks. However, if you really can`t help from them, make healthy choices: fruits, vegetables, pretzels, rice cakes, popcorn, or yogurt. However, you need to start counting your calories. You find a good calorie counter at projectweightloss.com. I also use their diet planner and i`m telling you: really helps!
